Between March and October 2017 we were welcomed into the homes of people from 22 countries around our globe.
From Afganistan to Ireland, Greece and Mexico we've literally eaten our way around the world, all represented here in the Waikato.
We know this is only a snapshot of the diverse community we live in. The last Census said we had more ethnicities in New Zealand than there were countries in the world. We are an international community.
Each person we met was so generous with their time, their stories and of course their recipes. Whether they came to New Zealand as a refugee or chose to immigrate here. Whether they've been here 30 years or just 12 months, they all shared a common desire to understand kiwi culture and share theirs with us.
Check out some of our community where they are from.
